BIOS problem

When I enter BIOS for whatever reason weather to change something or not if I
exit without saving my system reboots and all is good but if I select to save
and exit the screen freezes and to get out i have to press CTRL, ALT, DEL or
press the reset button on my case does any one know why

This is a hardware problem and has nothing to do with Windows. The
operating system isn't loaded when you are working in the BIOS. Contact
the motherboard mftr.'s tech support or, if this is an OEM machine
(Dell, HP, etc.) contact the OEM's tech support.

Did you recently "flash" the bios? Was everything OK before you did this?

Hi,

Bad flash perhaps. I would check for an update from the motherboard
manufacturer and reflash the BIOS.

If your BIOS offers a "Reset Configuration Data" option, you might
want to set that to "Enabled". This clears the ESCD (Extended
System Configuration Data Table).
