How do you find out the BIOS number of a pc ? (Dell)

The BIOS version is displayed on the screen for a couple of seconds during
bootup (Dell screen), or you could press the F2 key while the Dell screen is
displayed and enter the BIOS setup. The version number will be at the top of
the screen somewhere. The number is usually something like A05 or XP2. Press
the ESC key to exit BIOS setup.

How do you find out the BIOS number of a pc ? (Dell)

In addition to the other ways of doing this, you can also go to Start/Run
and type: msinfo32 and press OK. In the left pane, click System and you
will see the BIOS information there.
