Bios Flash Q

Past 5 to 6 years I've been pretty brand loyal to boards using award bios.In
most cases after Flashing and shutdown,a clear cmos operation is required
before powering the machine back up.As I scan the
P4C800-E manual,I don't see a requirement to do such.Is it not required or
did I just miss it?

I'm pretty sure just doing a Bios Default settings before and after
flashing is all that is necessary.
