BIOS A7N8X Delxe - Delxe E

Two different boards that's why.
Each board has certain differences(chipset, other functions, cpu type,
memory......).
A bios is meant for a certain board and is not common to a range of boards.
The A7N8X has differences that the X-X does not have and the same goes for
the X, and the A7N8X dlx has differences that the A7N8X-E and E dlx do not
have.
The A7N8X -E DLX has differences that the A7N8X -E does not have.
So each A7N8X board is different from each other.
If you read the specs for each board you will see the differences anyway.
And if you take the time to read what it says regarding what exact board the
bios is for you will see that it cannot be used for any other.
Always get the bios from the motherboard site and not from any other source.
Always read what is says about the bios and for what board.
No need to upgrade/update bios unless you are having the problems that are
supposed to be fixed in a bios update.
If it aint broke dont fix it.

Why???
what happens if you connect 110V to something that runs on 12v???
It aint going to work as there would be a big bang .
Same goes if you try to run a 12v fan on 24v, you would mess it up big time.
So the same goes for using the wrong bios for the wrong board.
Not that it would go bang but that it would not work or you could screw up
the bios chip.
Result = no pc

Why?
Because it is for one board and only that exact board.
There are different functions that are not common to each board.
So one bios cannot work in all boards.

Can I use the new 1008.bin BIOS on a A7N8X Deluxe?

Comparing the specs on the two boards, the LAN is different.
Any chip errata differences between the steppings of chips
used on the boards could make a difference as well. Don't
attempt this unless you own a BIOS Savior (ioss.com.tw),
which gives you a backup BIOS chip to escape with, in
case the "heart transplant" doesn't work.

In short You just cannot use a bios meant for a different A7N8X.
It cannot be done and even if you could then loads of things would not be in
the bios.
There is no way at all.

Anyone who tells someone to do it or makes them think there is no reason why
they should not may as well tell them to go and put their fingers in a fan
while it is on.
A bios is for the board it says and nothing else.
