Binder Functions: Stop/Start and File List

Like many others, I miss the Binder! Loading it on top of the Word version
I'm now using (2003 / SP2) has not worked well.

However, the actual capabilities I depended on Binder for seem fairly
simple. Can anyone tell me how to do either of these things using existing
functions?

1) Have a long document open at the same point I closed it. (Having to
scroll through a 50-page document, trying to remember where I was last
editing, is really annoying.)

2) Have multiple Word documents open simultaneously, then display a
convenient list of them so I can switch back and forth easily. I know, I
know, they're in the taskbar -- but a given project might have 10 docs, which
is more than will display individual tabs, and anyway it's a pain to have to
open 10 docs one after another everytime I want to work on a given project.

If these two capabilities existed in Word (and Word alone; I can live
without ppt files and so forth) I'd be really happy. Can anyone suggest
solutions?

Thanks very much!

Mike

Shift-F5 is a GoBack command that will return you to the last edit
point, even on first opening a document. (Note--not cursor point, but
only where you last made an edit)

No help with the windows--using the keyboard commands for Next Window
and Previous Window might help.
