BHO hijacked my IE6 Home Page.

"Spyware Quake" installed itself on my PC.

I unintsalled it, but bits of it are still on PC.

My home page is being hijacked to,

http:// www.dnserror404.com
http:// www.spywarequake.com
http:// www.theguardservices.com
and related websites
http://www.malwarewipe.com
http://www.bravesentry.com
http://adprotect.com
http:// www.v-codec.com

My PC says that security software downloads from these sites contain viruses.

W32.MyzorFK@yf
.....Zlob.YQ
etc..

So I added all these sires to my HOSTS file as tempory fix.

But still getting pop message "Your computer is infected...."
and BHO is still trying to hijack IE6 home page.

I need to find and remove BHO,

Tryed Spybot Search and Distroy, AVG, MS Live Scan, etc. no luck.

When all else fails, HijackThis
v1.99.1(http://aumha.net/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to
use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware.
