Game is fully installed.
On start up the splash screens appear and then it asks me to install the
correct cdrom in the drive although the correct cd is in.
Tried installing the game onto a virtual drive but it only gets as far as
the splash screen and the stops.
Any one that has this game running on Vista 32bit, I would app any feed back.
Dave.

No problems with it on my system, installs and plays as expected, the only
thing that doesn't work right is the patcher, which EA have acknowledged.

Have you got more than one DVD drive, have you installed it previously using
the same drive?

Only one dvd drive on system -- all other 'Vista' games work ok on this drive,
Stalker, C&C Tib Wars, Dark Messiah, Half-Life 2.
Game seems to install ok but will not fully boot - stops at splash screen
Tried running as admin and in xp compat mode, still nogo.
I have been playing this game for months on my old xp machine and because it
is listed as compat with Vista I thought I would carry on playing -- wrong!

Have you just tried leaving it on the splash screen for a few minutes?

Paul,
EA has informed me that the problem could be rectified by using 'secpol.msc'
to change the admin settings of Vista Home Premium. This would be great but I
have just learnt that secpol.msc is not included with Home Premium, only
Ultimate.

Any ideas that might help.
