If you use google (which you probably use hundreds of times everyday) then beware you don't add a 'k' to the URL so that it would be gookle.com instead of google.com

If you do your system will be infected with all sorts of viruses and other computer disasters.

ًWell the only to find is by someone risking their computer which is possible if they are going to format their computer

I got the news from a friend so I don't have that much of details, sorry!

Well you might say im stupid for trying it out ........but I did

Didnt do anything

didnt try and install anything


all good for me :thumb:


sent me to some advertising site

I wouldnt reccomend going to the site though

it just sent me to a car advert, nothing on the firewall logs, AV hasn't picked anything up nor the registry monitor ? think its just a rumour

Nothing can install on your computer with FireFox / IE without it prompting you first, personally i have javascript/activex control turned on, so only if i specifically allow the site will it begin parsing embeded scripts.
