If you want to purge this piece of crap......

We don't, thank you.

A lot of people use firefox. But I cant see an addon being added by the
dot net framework being a problem. It more then likly is need to enable
feature within FF.

joel666, when an upgrade program (.NET) installs an add-on to another
program (FF) which has nothing to do with Microsoft, it is common
courtesy to warn/request permission from the user.

You are a Firefox user? See if you can uninstall this add-on in the
usual way (the 'uninstall' button has been disabled).

(As for the rest of your theories, you can shove them up the orifice
where you park your nostrils normally, you MS brown-nose. )

The latest update offered on Vista has added an unwelcome add-on to
Firefox browser. If you want to purge this piece of crap from Microsoft,
here is the solution:

Message to Microsoft:

Concentrate on improving your own pathetic browser, rather than mess
around with others' superior browsers.

You stupid moron. If you knew what you were talking about, you still
wouldn't be dangerous.

Do you even know what ClickOnce support is about? It's for a browser
such a Firefox to download and install .Net solutions from a Web site
that develops/supports .NET solutions you idiot.

It's .NET software installation software that allows the Web site that
develops .Net Web based solutions, and it allows the .Net client running
the .NET client software to install the solution from the Web site.

..NET Framework 3.5 is NOT for Vista you clown. .NET 3.5 Framework on XP,
Win 2k3 server, etc, etc.

As I said...best to disregard him.

This is what it's about on FF as MS recognizes the use of FF in
companies that use .Net. .Net 3.5 Framework can and is installed not
only on the Vista platform. It can also be installed on XP, Win 2k, Win
or 2k3 server etc, etc.

It's .Net deployment/installation software, which can be used in a
company's .Net Intranet based solutions. It can also be used by
companies that deploy Internet based .Net solutions to their clients as
well.
