Beta1

O

Ohnooooo

I have Beta 1 on 3 computers. Everything is fine on two,
However; my one comp, the Realtime app is a lil baffling.
When I open Realtime it shows> Internet
agents>active...System Agents.active...application
Agents>active. When I scroll over any of the 3>shows
current status>active. Now when I open one
up>shows>inactive with an >>activate. When I try...nada
nothing. Shows all three...0 of 0 checkpoints currently
active?? I also can not open System explorers, the whole
window is blank. Here's the quagmire...I've
uninstalled>reinstalled several times. I've even gone
into the registry and deleted any reminants of Microsoft
Antispyware in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and HKEY_CURRENT_USER.
Not a trace of any program left and reinstalled to only
find the same. So basically I'm only getting the search
engine and updates on the one comp. Other then this
problem, I'm very impressed with the program on my other
2 comps, the realtime protection works very good and the
scans have been superb. For the lil time I bravely use
IE, other then updates, I did wake up MSN IE a few weeks
ago to knock the cobwebs off it, go into my Netpassport
MSN account to check my email, spent about 10 minutes
looking around the page and got nailed with AZE Search
toolbar that MS beta picked up, my other full programs,
Spysweeper and PestPatrol missed it. MS Beta found it but
couldn't remove it, kept coming back. Funny thing about
that lil pest was, PP missed it but had it in there
spyware community dictionary with instructions on how to
remove it which wasn't all that accurate. It kept on
showing up in my mui cache, but I finally got rid of
it...any ideas as to how to get MS Beta Realtime and
being able to open System expolorers???? A normal
uninstall reinstall or repair just doesn't work??

Have you read the responses to your other posts?

If you have a bug which is identified, and which is (supposedly) cleaned,
but keeps coming back:

restart in safe mode and do full, deep scans, until one comes through clean.
