beta spyware

Everytime I log on I get a microsoft spyware pop-up
asking if I want to allow or block a particular threat.
It's the same threat everytime but I've forgotten what it
is although it's not important. Also on the pop-up I can
tick a box stating "always ignore this threat". So
does "always ignore" mean "allow" or "block". If it means
always block it would be a great help. Thanks for any
replies.
