I tried to do what jupiter said...i dont know what it is u
suggest i do in the date section....in my regional
settings icon I have an advanced button not
customize....on the date page it just has settings to
establish calandar and date entires...please expand as
this does not seem to help thanks

Robert;
Under "Regional Options" tab click "Customize" button.
There are two boxes "short date format" & "Long date format"
Click on each to view the dropdown choices.
Select the top option in each.

After the Customize button, you need to click on the Date tab.
