I have a laptop with WinXP Pro and use an Adaptec VideOh! DVD Media Center
USB 2.0 to re-record TV programs from my PVR to the laptop, for traveling.
The PVR doesn't have a network or USB out so I have to re-record. I could
do away with the PVR by connecting my TV antenna to the laptop and use the
PVR software on it. Then I'd only need to video/audio out to the TV to
watch anything (I only watch recorded programs). The laptop has a DVD
player so I'd be ok there too. The problem is the laptop would have to be
next to the TV because of all the wires. Is there a better way to do this?
I suppose just watching everything on the laptop but that isn't so
convenient.
Also, which laptop have S-Video, phono (RCA) in? I thought the Win Media
Center laptops had it but I can't find any.
Thanks,
Brett
