Best VPN under broadband?

My son and I have broadband connections and I was wondering if it's possible
to set-up a VPN so that we can share files on each other's machines? I'm
looking for a cheap (Internet) solution. Cheers.

If you both have XP Pro, then YES. XP Pro has built-in VPN support. Look
for info on RAS in XP and PPTP for XP.
