I do have a serious question about linking to the correct
sites. I maintain a short list of helpful free programs listed
below. I know there are other good ones, but I try to keep
the list short, because I periodically email this list to my
personal friends, most of whom aren't particularly computer
savvy. Even some of these are probably to complicated for them
to install or use properly, but I list them anyway, for those
who can.

My question is, are any of the links given above not the best
or most correct links to the "manufacturer," as you call it? I
am pretty sure most of them are correct, but I'm no expert.

And I only list AVG for anti virus, because that is what I use.
If you know of one or two other popular free ware AV programs that
would be worth including, that would be helpful, too.

I anybody knows the answers to this, thanks for your help.

Thanks for the reply, Jeff. I've read other groups where
this program has been widely recommended. I've added it.

I do worry that some people may not know that they should
never have more than one anti virus program installed at a
time. I guess they will figure it out.
