hello

i have on my site :

2 servers windows 2000 (server1 and server2) and 1 servers windows 2003
(server3)
on all servers i have AD and DNS
all my dns zones are ad integrated

all servers have static adress
i want to have the best configuration on the network card (tcp/ip properties
)on all my server for the dns parameters

actualy i made that:
For server 1 i made server 3 at the dns server
For server 2 i made server 3 at the dns server
For server 3 i made server 1 at the dns server

is it good ?
What does'nt absolutly not do (for exemple make server1 is own DSN server on
the tcp/ip parameter) ...

thanks

You should have just configured all three DCs to use all three DCs for DNS.
It doesn't really matter what order you use, it does allow you to reboot any
two DCs at a time. Never reboot all three at the same time.
Side note- Make all three DCs a Global Catalog. One GC is all that is
required, but if you reboot it, or if it goes offline for any reason, it
slows authentication to a crawl.

I'm not exactly sure what you just said in this response.

Enter the IP address for all three DCs in TCP/IP Properties on all three
DCs.
