Hi,

Gad, how to explain ? there is a remote machine somewhere. I want
to check the VNC ports because there is a vnc sever, and i'm on that
server so the ports must be open and forwarded throuht the router.
(ports 5800 and 5900)

but using this bluportscan, i see only the port 139 open (netbios). Is
that
normal or due to the lack of habillity of the scanner, and in this case
what
would be the best port scan program to try ? thanks,

Port 139 is NETBIOS/Windows Networking. CLOSE IT IMMEDIATELY! It would
expose your Windows shares.

Foundstone's SuperScan v4.0's pretty popular.

Thanks, i think in fact that i may have fowardet ALL the ports of that
machine (easy router setup !) without taking care of the security very
much !
