Best method for print server redundancy

Howard

We have one print server handling about 50 printers in our company.
What's the best method to use for redundancy if this server should go
down. I know there are several methods, such as a back-up print
server, but are there any other alternatives which doesn't include
human intervention to switch servers - basically, doing it
automatically. Load balancing possible? Replication?

What does everyone else do in their work environmnet?

Thanks,

Howard

We have dealt with that question many time over the last few weeks. Search

Try clustering the two print servers. Disadvantages: cost, complexity.
