Best Diary freeware?

Whats the 'best' diary freeware out there?

I have tried a couple but want something that will:

1. Search back and forth to the next entry skipping out 'blank' days.

2. Show calendar with colour coded days to differentiate (at a glance)
between say bills due date, normal text entries, money in, birthdays etc
