Hey-

Check out this great site that is giving away totally FREE iPods!

I've joined and I think you should as well.

It's a completely legitimate offer, and this company has already given away
$4 million in FREE stuff!

All you have to do is join, complete an online offer, and refer friends to
do the same. That's it!

Here is my referral link. To help me get my iPod, click this exact link to
join, or copy and paste it into a browser:

For those disbelievers out there, Tech Tv tested this site out and found
that it works. Check out this link.

and dont forget to access thru my link to help me get my ipod. Thanks.

Oh, like no one would ever notice the path is through an affiliate
account so he can earn HIS reward to get a free iPod. At least this
a-hole doesn't spew a following garbage post from his infected host as
did the other a-hole wanting to earn his free PC by spamming the
newsgroups (a copy of that Google post is at http://snipurl.com/c0k3).

Slightly modify copy my prior reply (see above link to a Google copy of
my post):

So, do you trust "Ipod Lover"? Do you trust someone who spams the
newsgroups trying to get referrals so he can get his free PC? Do you
trust freeipods.com (aka FreeDesktopPC.com, aka Gratis Internet) with
your credit card info? If so, do I have a deal for you. Just send your
cash to ...

(gee, looks like the FreeDesktopPC.com is a copy and paste job)

So do you really want to become an affiliate of theirs to sell their
products? How long do you want or expect to keep your friends that you
convince to get into this pyramidal scheme of requiring a minimum points
or referrals to get the free stuff? Obvioulsy "iPod Lover" is spamming
the newsgroups trying to fulfill his referral quota to get HIS free
computer.

The BBB says Gratis Internet has resolved any complaints but that
doesn't really tell you how many there were that got resolved. It sounds
like the resolutions were of Gratis informing the participants what they
elected to get themselves into. Articles by them claim Gratis Internet
is a BBB member, but the BBB report says no. This may be a legal offer
but it does require you to be very wary of what you are doing.
