So what were peoples best buy of 2011.
Mine sadly was not pc related.:o
But a case of x30 Bottles of my favourite real ales from somerset.:thumb:
Got them at a discount as my sisters a local!:D
 
Mine is not computer related either. Got me a new Boardman Pro Carbon mountain bike :D

You lucky,lucky chap Quadophile,but does it have a view finder? I`m finding the screen on these digital cameras a bit of a pain in bright light (sunny) I think therefore that the next one will have to have a view finder. Hope you get some good pictures this comming year with it.

The Canon G12 has a viewfinder, the Lumix LX-5 does not.
 
Been thinking about this and I think my new computer rebuild was probably best purchase but it was a close call between the Frugel home made loudspeakers and the new Xbox 360.

Or it may really have been that pint of Guinness, sipped as the sun went down over the Thames that September evening sitting outside in the open air...

Yes one can buy the EVF (electronic viewfinder) as an accessory and it attaches atop the camera on the hot shoe.
 
That's a hard one.
Perhaps my first Android experience.
