Benq x500 USB Keyboar not detected

My new USB Keyboard doesn't detected by Windows XP SP2.
I'm using Amilo M7400 Notebook by Fujitsu-Siemens that doesn't have PS/2
Port.
Did anyone have same experience like this?
 
You may need to get into your BIOS and enable
"Legacy USB Support" or somethibng like that...
 
The Keyboard has also a PS/2-adapter, with which it works fine at my
desktop. But the desktop neither cannot detect the Keyboard, when I plug
it in USB-PORT.
 
Take it back.

Get a different keyboard. Take your notebook
with you and insist that you see it work at the store
before you buy it.

Probably faster and easier than spending time
trying to get this to work.
