Belkin Ultra ATA/133 PCI Card?

Vista Ultimate (32 bit) has been working beautifully for me so far, except
for one thing. I have three hard drives, one is SATA (acknowledged and
working with Vista), and then two older hard drivers which have been running
through an Ultra ATA/133 PCI Controller.

I can NOT get Vista to acknowledge this card. I've tried a few things, none
of which worked. I contacted Belkin, and they aren't interested in Vista in
the slightest.

Does anyone know if a work-around or generic driver or something exists that
would remedy my problem? Or can anyone supply me with a list of other
similiar ATA/133 PCI controllers that Vista WILL acknowledge?

Thanks in advance.

My apologies for the lack of information, unfortunately
I'm not sure what you mean, so I can't state what chip is
on the card.

Look at the illustration in the page you linked.

I see two chips which are large black, thin rectangles with letters and
numbers on them.

One is in a socket and is probably the card's bios and/or firmware.

The other is probably the logic of the card. From here it looks like it was
made by Silicon Image.

Look at the numbers and letters on the chip and match them up with the
manfacturer's models from their web site.

Silicon Image 's web site is at

http://www.siliconimage.com/support/

I suspect the chip is a 680A.

Plugging that in gives me:

Here is a direct link to the hardware in question;
perhaps the answer you're looking for is listed there.
If it isn't, maybe specifics will help me locate the
answer you need.

Double check my suppositions with what you read off the actual card.

Looks like a Silicon Image chip from the picture (the flat chip on the right
side of the card). I don't have time right now, but maybe you or someone
else can. Would help if you could read the chip number, since I know they
have at least a couple.
Have you tried installing the one that came with the card, probably XP?
