ok let me see if i can explain where i've been so maybe some one has a
thought where iam going wrong tried to install XP 4-5 times on new hard
drives but as soon as they finish the install and it looks like it's
going to work Bam get a stop error that xp can't load the hive...
ok i've read up on the hive error messages and most all say it's
because of a bad registrey
how can tha be when it's a fresh install nothing else running except
the intall.no programs loaded.network not connected using 40 gig
harddrives 512 meg of memory 64 meg viedo card
1.7gig processor so after spending 5-6 hours trying eveything i could i
tried install throu windows 98 wich was a working os until i install XP
now i have a screwed up 98 drive that tries to dual boot i can get 98
to load but the dual boot is a pain in the butt soif anyone know
how to fix the hive porblem or get rid of the dual boot issue i would
be very grateful for any help

Finally, after all these years, I have seen the longest sentence in MS
newsgroup history. No punctuation, no capitalization, etc.
