Beeping keys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I turn on computer it starts to load windows xp, desktop screen -my desktop-shows , then it asks for password
I try to type in password and the keys just beep-thats as far as I get.The Screen says-"to begin click user name". I click user name and try to type in password- BEEPS
