been sent a lotus notes email. how do i save?

I am being sent an email which will be in lotus notes. i need to amend it
and send on to someone else. is there a way i can save it as a word document
when it arrives?

Yes but it is easier to just copy and paste the material into an open word
document.
If you want to open as word from Lotus Notes then you: Export as ASCII
text. Save it, then choose to open it in word.
