BCM Problem for Pocket PC WM6

I am running BCM on my TMobile Wing with WM6. When I dial a phone number, the
smart dialer searches the contacts directory only for matches but not the
Business Contact Manager contacts. Is there a way to make the dialer search
contacts from both directories? Any help will be appreciated.

This is an example of "seamless integration" as designed and released by MS.
It only took them a few years to release this lame solution! Your BCM
contacts are contained within a separate directory on your mobile device and
this has no support to work with your smart dialer. There is no smart, quick
dial lookup or incoming caller ID possible.

In order to do what you want to do you need to use a 3rd party multi-folder
synch solution that will provide a single conduit of data transfer from both
of your separate Outlook and BCM contacts on the PC into a merged single
directory on the TMobile Wing. Check out: www.chapura.com. You can use
either Chapura's Pocket Mirror Professional for WM or their newer release
called "Folder Mirror." Chapura makes good stuff that actually works as
stated.

Thanks for the clarification. I would have spent hours otherwise looking for
the solution that did not exist.

On a related note - the same problem also seems to exist for emails.
However there is a location where you can specify additional address books.
When I try to create a new email - it searches Outlook Contacts only for
matches and not the BCM contacts. Though email does allow you to add address
books - but I do not know how to specify the servername and location of
directory for the BCM address book. Appreciate any response - would save me
time.
