BCM and roaming profiles

I have a user who is set up to use roaming profiles which allows her to work
from any machine and still have all of her profile settings. I've installed
BCM V2 on 2 of the machines she is usually working on. Everything works fine
on one machine. Then when she goes to another machine (her laptop) BCM
starts up and says that:

BCM for Outlook database cannot be loaded. This can not be accomplished
because BCM cannot access the database. SQL Server does not exist or access
denied. Do you want to change the database configuration?

Is there a set of recommendations on how to get BCM V2 to work with roaming
profiles? Do I need to set up SQL Server synchronization so that every time
she logs on the two BCM databases are synchronized? How would I deal with a
simple fact that these databases may be named differently on these 2
separate machines yet the profile refers to only one name for the database?

Hi Leon,

1. I understand that you have shared a database on one of the machines using
the menu item:
- Business Tools --> Share Database...

2. And the sharing process has gone through successfully.

3. Ensure that the user id which is used on the 2nd machine (laptop) has
been added to the list of users who have access to the database. Please
ignore this step if the same user id is used on both the machines.

4. Ensure the following settings on machine 1:
- File and Print Sharing is enabled
- Note: You cannot run Business Contact Manager if the ‘Don't allow
exceptions’ check box is selected on the General tab of the Windows Firewall
dialog box in the Microsoft Security Center.

5. Ensure that you are able to access Machine 1 from Machine 2 (laptop). You
should be able to open shared folders.

Now try to access the shared database on Machine 1 from Machine 2

Thanks.
