BCM and Outlook Professional

I read that BCM is available in Outlook 2003 Professional. I tried to load it
from CD but could not find any reference to BCM being part of the suite. Does
anyone know if this is true?

If so, how do I load it?

Thanks,

Tom

It should be on a separate CD. However, you best bet is probably to
download it from microsoft.com, to ensure you have the latest bits (V2
SP3; v2 is generally referred to as "Update"). There is also a SP4,
but that's only helpful if you are on Vista or want to integrate
Microsoft Office Accounting.

Luther, thanks for the info. The disk I'm trying to load is labeled BCM for
Outlook 2003. After I load it (it shows up in control panel\add remove prog)
Outlook does not have any reference of it. I try to enable it and it comes
back already enabled. I found a readme file and it said something to the
effect that this version of BCM does not work with Exchange server. That does
not sound right to me.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Tom

The original BCM 1.0 did not work if Outlook was configured for
Exchange, but that was fixed with Office and BCM 2003 SP1.

You should definately make sure Office is up-to-date; run Microsoft
Update.

And update BCM to v2 sp3, if only to get all the other bug fixes.

If BCM is installed, but won't show up in Outlook, the add-in may have
disabled in the Registry:
In
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins
\Microsoft.VbaAddinForOutlook.1
LoadBehavior should be set to 3.
