BCM and backend servers?

Hello

I am trying to figure out of what backend versions that can be used, since I
though that BCM could only connect to the database engine that was shipped
with it, but this might not be true?

Could anyone please fill me in what backend server can be used with any kind
of BCM versions, please?

Like;
1) Can BCM v1/v2 use SQL 2005 Express instead of MSDE? can it connect to
other versions as well? Full version of SQL Server?

2) Can BCM2007 connect to any versions of SQL as well? Can it connect to
MSDE?

Hi Robert,

BCM V1 is only supported on MSDE 200.

BCM V2 with sp4 and BCM V3 are supported on Sql Express.

BCM V3 is supported on Sql Express and full sql server. For full sql server
you will need to do some manul setup steps. You can find that information
