BCM 2007 beta won't work - can't connect to database

I installed Office 2007 Professional Plus, and then Outlook with Business
Contact Manager. No problems. I started Outlook, and in BCM, did an initial
population of the Contacts from a series of Outlook contacts. No problems.
Deleted a few duplicates. Then I tried to create a new Account manually.
When I said to save, it refused, saying that it couldn't connect with the
database. I then tried to edit and save one of my imported contacts. I got
the same error message.

At this point, BCM 2007 is useless to me, because I can't create or edit
anything.

Have other people experienced this? If so, is there a workaround?

Thanks.

Further to my question below, I have now located the log files with the error
messages. The relevant part is the following:

Error: 18456, Severity: 14, State: 16.
2006-05-25 08:08:17.92 Logon Login failed for user
'NETPLANSYS\easson'. [CLIENT: <local machine>]

I read this to mean that it won't log me in to the database. I am on a
networked machine; the network is NETPLANSYS. The database is on my local
machine.

Any idea why it won't log me in to my own database, and how I can fix this?
Thanks.

User 'NETPLANSYS\easson' ran the BCM setup? And created the db?

Are you on Vista Beta 2?

Try adding 'NETPLANSYS\easson' to the machine's Administrators group as
a workaround.
