BCM 2007 beta - Network Path Not Found

Strange occurence on client machines....

When in BCM, Account OR Contact lists, and user double-clicks to select a
record and get the detailed view get the following:
1. 5 second delay
2. Alert "The Network Path was Not Found"
3. When "OK" button clicked, the requested item
is retrieved and displayed.

Any ideas as to what BCM is looking for?

Any ideas as to the cuase?

Environment : SVR 2003s & XPP-SP2s w/AD

TIA

BCM gurus,
If the Contact demographic data is held in the BCM database, which you seem
to be hitting OK, but the Contact History detail links are whereever the
mailbox folder data is kept, ie., on the Exchange server or in PST files,
could this error be because the install is having a hard time finding the
History stuff like email?
Ewr - have you linked old email to Contacts in this DB? Have a look at
BCM|Manage autolinking|Folders tab is how I would start.
No idea if this is right way to think about this or not.

Depends on the history record.

If record is an email, and email is still in PST, it should come up.

If record is a document, and document was in folder on network share,
and share is not available, then "The Network Path was Not Found" seems
like an expected response.

I can provide the fix, but not the cause.

Dispite having done this multiple times over the last few weeks, the issue
was solved this time by re-specifying the location and database name for the
BCM database

BTW this issue was not related to history detail etc...
