BCM 2003 Install Problem

I've had it with ACT!'s instability, and decided to load the BCM 2003 that
came with my laptop two years ago. The installation seems to have gone okay,
and I can add contacts. But when I try to add an Account or an Opportunity,
I get an error message that says Outlook needs to shut down. I've looked
into my services using the MMC, and get an error there saying that the MMC
has encountered an error with a snap-in. Any ideas? btw, I run instances of
SQLExpress for Act!7 and for another third party business application.

The MMC issues are probably Windows issues. I don't think BCM changes
any snap-ins.

The Outlook needs to shutdown generally means there was an unhandled
exception from the add-in. There was a lot of work done in that area
with BCM v3/2005 to keep Outlook from crashing when something
unexpected happens.

Since the problem happens with some forms but not others, you could
try deleing the Outlook forms cache and letting Outlook recreate it.
There was a nasty bug with forms in Outlook 2003, and that was the
work-around until Outlook issued a patch.
