Bcc: Problem

use mail merge instead of BCC. If you have word, you won't need 3rd party
software to do simple merges. (To add attachments, you would need mail merge
software.)
 
I wish to send a newsletter email from outlook to a number of recipients.

I would like them not see each other hence the blind carbon copy.

The only way that i could seem to achieve this is too send an email to
myself and Bcc: everyone else.

The problem occurs that this means the intended recipient gets an email
from me to me!

How can i instruct each instance of the email to put the intended Bcc:
into the To: field of the email so that when they recieve the email its
addressed to them from me.

Do i need some sort of mail merge or 3rd party software??

Yes you are right; you need to use 3rd party software like Easy Mail
Merge for Outlook. It does exactly what you need: personalizes each
mail merge so that each recipient will see in the "To" field only
his address. Of course it has a lot of other features. I tested a lot
of programs that have some of these features but none of them is more
flexible.
