Dear ALL,

is it possible to display battery meter even if they are charging (AC power
supply is plugged in) ?

In theory yes. In practice no laptop PCs are built with the extra
circuitry necessary to supply this information: users can so
easily just unplug the charger the look at indicated battery charge.

Yes. Open the Control Panel Power Settings app and display the proper tab.
But what's the point of doing this?

Because some people want to display the icon which is why there is an option
to do so. And now that I'm done being sarcastic, I like to know how far
along my battery is when charging.

Huh?? My Toshiba laptop shows the meter while the machine is plugged
in, so I can see how far the recharging has progressed.

Look in Control Panel|Power Options for settings. I'm sitting at a
desktop right now, so there are no battery settings there, but I think
that's where they would be.

My Toshiba doesn't, but when I got it I stopped most of the Toshiba's
running processes very early on. What you are seeing is definitely
something proprietary from Toshiba.
