battery meter

I have accidently right click the battery meter icon on the taskbar on my
laptop.
can i know how to acitvate the battery meter bar ? Appreciate if I can get a
prompt reply on this.

Click Start, Settings, Control Panel, Power Options, "Advanced" tab, check the box, "Always show
icon on the taskbar", Apply, OK
 
I have tried the solution you mentioned but it doesnt work. What I meant is
the battery bar which should be shown on the task bar.

r. click the start button and select properties
select task bar tab and then select customize butto
in the window find the battery icon and highlight it.then choose t
"always show
Apply and ok ou
 
what I meant is the laptop battery bar (the green bar which shows the amount
of battery available in percentage ) which is shown outside the normal
windows taskbar. This battery bar is only shown in this manner on laptops and
not desktop.
 
That will be a laptop manufacture applet nothing to do with XP - Contact
their support
