Batch search/replace within files in a folder?

I need to search files in a folder for certain words and replace them.

Anyone know of such a prog?

Inforapid has a fabulous prog.

Now all I need to make my day, nay my month, naaaay my year, is another prog
that
would ftp the *edited* files to a web site. No need for a dial up. I would
connect and initiate the process. I have ws_ftp LE and it's a good prog but
I sure wouldn't expect it to know an edited file from an unedited one. Or
maybe the Inforapid prog can put all the edited files in a separate fiolder
on which ws_ftp can work its magic?

That's the correct url from the documentation although the docs and
version of the program that I have are a few years old. I'll check
around to see if I can find it somewhere else.
