Banner at top of page - loads last - frustrating!

On most of my web pages (such as eBay), there is a banner
add that loads after the rest of the page. This typically
takes a couple of seconds and causes the page to jump
down, typically about the time you are hitting a button.
This causes either nothing or the wrong action to occur.
I've eliminated the contents of the ads (from
servedby.advertising.com), but the blank banner still
loads. Any suggestions?

Install this host file and it will be block as many others.

If you presently use a hosts file it will replace the one your have.

The best way is to block the server from tracking you in the first place
Blocking Ads with a Hosts File and AdShield. Under the Security Tab download
the hosts.zip file.

There is also a reset host file .bat file on the same that you may want to
consider.
It toggles the file ON and OFF for viewing images on occasions.

Yes it's installed and used.
I only block the pictures from the sites I visit often.

I did not however downloaded Mike's build file.
Just in case there could be a conflict with what I already have.

Glad to hear you have it running. The blocklist that comes "standard" is more or
less Mike's block file, perhaps with the exception of the IP filter.
