Baffled by wierd fax software behaviour - is it Win2K related?

I'm having odd problems with my Winfax Pro software. Most
of the time it works fine (and picks up the call after a
single ring, as it's supposed to) but sometimes it doesn't
pick up for 20 rings!

I've changed the old modem for a new model but after a
week the problem has re-occurred.

Can anyone shed any light on this problem?

You should get in touch with the WinFaxPro software support.

If you're using Windows' in-built Fax software, then direct your queries to
this newsgroup. If you are using a Windows 2000 computer with a Fax capable
modem installed, Fax should be already installed in your computer. You can
get to Fax related shortcuts from Start | Programs | Accessories |
Communications | Fax
