Bad Vista

“Vista is an upsell masquerading as an upgrade. It is an overall
regression when you look at the most important aspect of owning and
using a computer: your control over what it does. Obviously MS Windows
is already proprietary and very restrictive, and *well worth rejecting*.
But the new *'features' in Vista are a Trojan Horse* to smuggle in even
more restrictions. We'll be focusing attention on detailing how they
work, how to resist them, and why people should careâ€,

x1a4,

Respectfully, spreading valueless myth and rumor is not well-mannered; and
entirely disgraceful toward -sincere- participants of this Forum.

Vista is our Worlds most Secure Operating Syatem providing Ultimate Security.

Conditional if the users performs a *proper* install, by simply following
simple elementary Vista Install Read Me File Instructions; eliminating user
induced conflicts !!!

The above is achieved by *not* using an open source code “nightly build†OS,
including, not using *not* Certified third party applications.

I'm all about your right to say whatever you want.
Go for it.

However - could you hone your spamming method of
advertising by learning to cross-post? Seeing this
same thread over-and-over - sometimes with slightly
different subject lines - always unread because you
multi-posted instead is just annoying to me.

It does not want to make me visit your web page or
read the slant you have taken on any web page, but leads
me to believe you are nothing more than a spammer.

Doesn't matter if that is fact or fiction...
It's an impression - just like one would get when watching
late night TV and seeing some of the ads for some of the
ridiculous products and get-rich quick schemes. In other
words - it doesn't shine the most positive light on
whatever message you may be trying to spread.

I am *not* attacking your message. Go for it.

I may not agree with your language or the extremeness of
some of your politics - but I am grateful I don't - or
how boring would this life be?

Actually, OpenBSD is the world most secure operating system.
Conditional if the users performs a *proper* install, by simply following

Which few users do. Microsoft STILL hasn't gotten Administrator vs.
User right.

The above is achieved by *not* using an open source code “nightly build†OS,

In addition to Vista, I run an Open Source OS as well. It is NOT a
"nightly build" OS. Your ignorance on this subject is showing.

I now have their "No littering" logo as desktop wallpaper. Probably wont be
there for too long but... I don't know why but every time I see this big
jumpin-at-you-from-the-screen "BAD Vista" it make me chuckle.

BTW Vista automatically copied TIFF image to my profile and converted it to
jpeg before making it a wallpaper. Nice.

I see no censorship by Shenan.
Perhaps you are misusing the word "censor".

J

Jupiter Jones [MVP]

You claim censorship but can not show where there has been any censorship.
Now you seem to suggest I censor posts, ridiculous since I can not censor
posts here.
It is clear you do mot know what the word means.
Or perhaps you like to use words that evoke emotions to suit your agenda.

The reality here is I get to choose what I post.

I could choose to eliminate the meat of the message I am responding to
(which you did) and make no reference to any modifications I made (which you
chose to not make any reference to what you left out) --> but I did not. I
left 'inferences' to the links and even pointed out what modifications I
made. The only thing I chose not to do - which I have done in the past -
was post a link to the Google Groups store of the entirity of the thread -
mostly because i figured I was only one response down the thread and those
interested in what the original said would be able to refer back to the
original post (through several different means - including common sense
since the substitutions I made (I again made) are painfully obvious.)

You chose to eliminate my actual response...

I would call that carefully choosing what to leave out so your argument has
the impact you intend and could not be interpretted as anything else when
taken out of context as it was. Some may have another way of saying that -
do you?

I have not seen you censor posts here YET. But I have seen a rediculous
amount of times that you censored (changed certain lines to xxx's in
your replies) Kurtrail's posts in the XP general group in the past.
It is clear you do mot know what the word means.
Or perhaps you like to use words that evoke emotions to suit your agenda.

At least Shenan had the sense to state that he changed the links. I
can't even say that much for your past actions like this.

Does this mean if someone's newsgroup client is set to clip signatures
in any post they respond to, that they should state that each and every
time?

"I have not seen you censor posts here YET."
It seems you expect it though.
Perhaps all it takes for you to make a false accusation is for you to think
it may happen someday.
What may happen is irrelevant, what has happened is.
And I have not censored anyone even though your agenda seems to need that I
did.

You need to read a little about censorship.
Demonstrate where I have changed or removed anyone's original post...EVER.
You can not.
The original post is always there, available for anyone to read.
If not, I had NOTHING to do with it and you know it but choose to ignore
that fact.

You have little comprehension of what censor means or you choose to ignore
the meaning to make your FALSE accusations.

What is someone that makes accusations that can not be proven and are in
fact FALSE?
Look in a mirror for one answer.

LOL! You did it again! Can't help yourself can you?

Don't have to - I do not need help.
This is true. How about me, do I get the same choice?

You do.
And I can respond in kind and you can do the same and we can go on and on
until we are replaced by others.
Does this mean if someone's newsgroup client is set to clip
signatures in any post they respond to, that they should state that
each and every time?

As I said before, "The reality here is I get to choose what I post." and as
you inferred, so do you and everyone else here.
So - they can choose to do that or not.
Their choice - I do not make it for them, neither do you.

You chose to change/modify my post...
.... mainly by removing parts of it...
.... and then point out I had done the same thing you had just done.

I chose to respond.

I see a pattern.

You can not.

This is true, because you as an MVP are in capable of doing so. But you
do the next closest thing.
The original post is always there, available for anyone to read.
If not, I had NOTHING to do with it and you know it but choose to ignore
that fact.

If you were wise, you would have snipped the sig, not altered it and
quote it in your replies. It makes you look like a censor wanna be.
You have little comprehension of what censor means or you choose to
ignore the meaning to make your FALSE accusations.

What is someone that makes accusations that can not be proven and are in

Look in a mirror for one answer.

No, you are right. I stand corrected - you are not a censor, but you
are instead a censor wanna be (which is the mere shadow of an actual
censor). Thanks for pointing out to me the truth, that you are even
more sorry than I was pointing out in the first place. LOL!

It's not quite exactly the same because I just snipped part of the post.
You actually requoted some text to specifically display the text in
that quote you altered. It seems it was important to you to show off
the text you altered. Is that true?

No - but snipping the whole thing left no frame of reference.
I left a frame of reference.

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
