Bad System tools

I recently Installed windows 2000 in my computer and was a
successfull instalation, but when I try to use the system
tools, it takes a long time to open them, but it doesn't
freeze up? What could this be?
Thanks for your support.
 
What does task manager show you is running when this happens? Are other
applications slow?
