-I suspect that this file may be causing problems in my computer and is
classified as moderate to high security risk. If delete this file (Kodak
updater) will it cause me operational problems other than not being able to
update my "Kodak Camera photo transfer program"-

You are not going to be able to simply delete the file. Even if it let you,
(which I suspect would get you a 'in use' error anyway), you would have
entries in your connection setup in the registry that would quite likely shut
down your internet access.
My expierence with Kodac software has found everything they do is incredibly
'controlling'. My advice, if you are planning to tinker with their installed
system at all, is to remove all the Kodac stuff in the 'prescribed' way, by
using the Add/Remove app in Control Panel. Trying to 'hack it out' would
probably bring even worse errors than you have already.

Generally that process can be killed, but you may not be able to delete the
file without breaking the Kodak software. You'll have to ask them.

Why do you suspect it is causing problems?
