Following some serious problems with my computer I decided to re-load Windows
XP Professional from the Recovery Disc provided by the manufacturer-Dell.
Before doing this I made a full backup of all my folders, files and settings
onto a second internal hard drive. I then reformatted my main hard drive and
reinstalled Windows. Everything now runs like a dream except that I cannot
recover my files from the backup. All the folders move across from one drive
to the other but none of the files in the folders appears to move with them.
I cannot open the folders-I get an access denied message and I cannot delete
any of these folders from my drive-again I get an access denied message. Can
anyone out there help?

You may be able to recover your old files by disabling Simple
File Sharing and taking ownership of the files. Take a look at
