when i try to backup my system to a dvd, i get the following message :
the backup file name could not be used. "E:\file name.bkf" please ensure
that it is a valid path, and that you have sufficient acces.
it doesnt matter what filename i use, i allways get that message
i have a dvd-rw drive and i'm the system administrator

Hi Raiden,

NTBackup cannot backup the CD/DVDs directly. Store the backup in the hard
disk, and then transfer to CD/DVD using the burner software.

I would suggest purchasing a good imaging software, such as Acronis or
Norton's Ghost. Both of those are reliable and easy to use. I do tend to
favor Ghost 2003 rather than the newer v9, but v9 should work just as well.
