Backup Tool

I just used the Microsoft Backup Tool for the first time and saved my backup
to my external hard drive. After the backup was complete, my recovery drive
now shows that it is almost full (only 8% remaining). Is this normal??? Any
help is appreciated. Thanks

If the backup took up 92% of the drive...then yes, that's normal

Your Recovery drive is simply a partition that contains the files necessary
to restore your computer in the event of a catastophic drive failure. If you
have not done so, you should burn those file to DVDs (three probably) for
use in restoration. When you burn them, choose the "bootable" format, NOT
data format.
