backup to cd

using Windows XP Pro, trying to use Backup utility to
back up data to CD. When using backup wizard, recognises
my E: drive as my burner but when try to continue,
says "The backup file name could not be
used. "E:\Backup.bkf". Please ensure it is a valid path
and that you have sufficient access." The disk in the
drive is a new CD-RW. Does it need to be formatted or
something? Thanks for whatever help you can give.

You will need a work-a-round

You should also be aware that the Backup Utility can not span multiple CD's
nor can it split files. So your backup must be able to fit on the CD
