backup question

Hi,
I am scheduling a job to create a back up of some files on my PC and
store it on the server. The job needs to run every week. Is it possible to
delete previous week's backup file when we create a new backup file?

You can overwrite the existing backup file. If you do that though, what I
suggest is scheduling two jobs that run every 2 weeks that alternate. So,
you' have one job run 1/1, 1/15, 1/29, ... and a different job that runs
1/8, 1/22/, 2/5, ... and use two separate files.
