Backup.pst issue

Working with Office 2007 Pro. Exported personal folder for redundancy to a
flash drive. When I now launch Outlook the message:

Business Contact Manager for Outlook
The file D:\backup.pst cannot be opened

Never pointed anything to this device. Clicking "OK" allows me to proceed to
Outlook but returns everytime Outlook launches. How do I remedy this

Thats not the way to backup OL data, you simply copy the data files with OL
closed.
It appears you have the flash drive pst in your folder list, remove it

Much thanks for the information. Is there a default location/folder for the
BCM contact manager backup? I only had one contact but would like to restore
it. I am prompted each time I launch Outlook.

BCM is seperate from outlook.
I assume you created the BCM backups within BCM?
If within BCM you select Manage Database, you should be able to get an
indication as to where the backup is stored.
I dont have Outlook with BCM running on this PC to check, I'll check next
time I use the other PC
