I tried to use the Windows XP backup utility to backup a single .mdb file, in
use, and failed. Successfully backed up the folder heirarchy, but not the
file. Log said it failed becuase:
Warning: Unable to open "N:\WIM\Private Bank\Client Service
Assurance\CSA\CASEMANAGER\DATABASE\CaseMgrDB.mdb" - skipped.
Reason: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by
another process.
Can anybody help me figure out why? I thought the shadow technology allowed
backup even if the file was in use.
Thanks,
