backup dvd's

i made some dvd backups of my files from xp pro to get ready for vista. i
have installed vista and now ready to install the backup's ,but vista wont
read them, it said nothing is on dvd. all 3 copies work on a xp comp. so i
know there is files on the disks.

Did you finalize the disks? If you didn't you may not see them under Vista
until you install the same program you used to create the disks.
